- Market size and concentration: Unsourced entries are blank by design. CR4 means the combined share of the four largest suppliers in a precisely defined market, geography and year.
- Demand: Qualitative descriptions are research hypotheses, not verified forecasts. Follow linked sources before drawing conclusions.
- Quotes: Crypto spot snapshots use Coinbase Exchange when reachable, with Kraken as a read-only fallback. Kraken ticker snapshots do not provide a trade timestamp, so freshness is marked unknown; its high/low is a rolling 24-hour range. Stock/ETF quotes require a server-side FMP provider key. Each available quote reports its provider timestamp and freshness (recent, stale, or unknown). A session low/high is shown only when supplied by the provider. Unavailable prices are never simulated.
- Risk and backtests: Price snapshots are not executable quotes. Research scenarios must disclose data coverage, trading costs, taxes, liquidity, slippage and out-of-sample limitations. No strategy performance or guaranteed earnings are implied.
- Offline catalog: After a successful load, this device saves the verified 160-category directory for offline browsing. Offline copies are explicitly dated, may contain outdated symbols, and do not provide live prices. If no verified copy exists, the directory stays unavailable rather than inventing data.
